These boards need to be in the science area. Web sites you know of would be great although I could not find what I was looking for on the web for free.

preschool--
using very basic graphs you can track the growth of plants and small animals like butteflies, bean plants allow the children to watch and chng the graphs as the situation arises
also making spider webs using very large yarn and tape, the children can change the webs and pretend to be the spiders
i even helped the children create habitats on the science board, we made the pieces in the science area and then added them to the board as we studied the animals actual habitat
school age you can take these even further, give each child or group of children parts of the board to use for graphs for opposites, colors of items like animal coats, leaves, etc. also can keep track of the things that sink/float, fast/slow

If you have extra money buy a star and name it for class. It could stimulate discussion on star constellations and why their position in the sky changes.
