on the right lower part of the player there's the normal mode...
just click it...

the normal size you are talking abt is the full mode in windows media player terms
and the mini mode is the skin mode

get the focus on windows media player and press ctrl and 1
or right click anywhere on your media player and select Full mode

you're done

right click on task bar.... select toolbars... then uncheck windows media player.... :)
