I guess it depends on the religion and the person. The people who get sucked into cults could be considered addicted. Any form of extreme living is not good for a peron. If a person spends all day and night drinking, doing drugs or following a religion, they have an unhealthy addiction. And yes, in some cases, it is easier to blame alcohol, drugs or a god for ones problems instead of accepting responsibility. Some people are so lost on the outside they busy themselves with other activities to keep from looking in to see how screwed up they really are.

All those that say they are for Jesus aren't , Some Christians are Artificial Christians. Everyone has something or another to get rid of, you are to worship him in both the good and bad be true in other words in no matter what you are going through.

Of course not.
It was easier for me to live when I DIDN'T believe in God. There was nothing to keep me from doing what I wanted, so long as it wasn't against the law (and half the time, I didn't even care about that!).
See, if there's no God, there's nothing after life. We have no soul. Our existence is one big, cosmic joke. If there's nothing after life, it means there is no consequences for evil, or rewards for good.
That also means that both evil and good are relative, depending on each person.
If God exists, it means that we have a responsibility not only to ourselves, but to each other.
So how would that make reality "easier"?

No, because God is not going to cause you to go in a down spiral like alcohol and drug abousers. Worshipping God will free you from any addictions that you may have. He will give you a future and a hope. God is our Heavanly Father. All that He desires of us is to know Him and love Him. And to understand that we are His children. He doesnt mean us any harm. He means us love and companionship.

Why would you consider drug abuse to loving someone.Drug abuse can harm your mind and your body and it help you cope with no one.You are talking to someone who took that route. Worshiping God dose no harm to my mind or body.He dose not make me loved him or do me any body harm.I force my reality on no one neither do god and if it make it easier to cope so be it .

The same chemicals are released into the brain -dopamine and serotonin- during drug use and when experiencing religious fervour so yes there is a physiological need for them to get their religious "fix". They're no better than junkies.

There is salvation through Christ. Addiction to drugs or alcohol don't offer anything of value.

How could they be just as bad as addicts? An addict will hurt and steal from the person they love to get the next hit. A religious person, other than islam followers, will not do such a thing.

I don't consider addiction "bad" per se, unless it causes self destruction or is all consuming. Religion certainly can be addicting though.
