Nope, if you want to lose weight, lose it for you. You don't try and change yourself for someone else. There are a lot of men who likes a little meat on there bones. Its fine to lose weight, but just make sure you are not doing it to please someone else. You have to LOVE yourself before anyone else can LOVE you!!

No Men should like you for just being you. I know the media and peers all say you should look like a stick but as a man of a few years those stick figures really don't look that good. There is no way you should be able to see ribs. (unless on your dinner plate lol) The problem is once you lose the weight you have a hell of a battle to keep it off. Men hate to her women all the time complaining "ohhh I need to lose some weight" and stuff like that. It's always a battle should I eat this or shouldn't I Be happy for who you are. As a little side note, I have always found heavier women to be a lot better in bed. Not really sure why but they are.

You should not lose weight just so as men will like you. If you think that you would feel generally happier if you were to lose weight then by all means of course do so but don't do it purely so as men will like you. I think men won't like you anymore just because you were slimmer, but on the other hand you if would feel more confident around men because you would'nt be worrying about your weight and you would feel happier being slimmer then I think thats up to you. Don't worry about it though and only lose a bit of weight if you know you would also feel healthier. Also worrying about your weight can become an issue in itself and unless you know what you are doing, like know how much you want to lose and have an aim, it can go on and you can end up worrying about it all the time!! If you decide to lose weight then I would have an aim for how long your diet will last and how much you want to lose etc...... This way you will be able to do it without worrying about it so it won't become and issue.
And only do it if YOU really want to!!

Anything you do to improve yourself, including losing weight, can make you more attractive to a man, but if you try to do it for that reason alone, you probably aren't going to be successful anyway.

Instead of concentrating on weight loss, concentrate on developing a healthy lifestyle:

Drink plenty of water, one 8 ounce glass when you get up, one before every meal, and one each time you use the restroom.

Get a full eight hours of sleep every night. If you need to get up at a certain time during the week, get up at the same time on the weekends.

Get some exercise, and do it with the right attitude. If you planned to run a mile, but you're pooped after 1/4 mile, that was a successful workout. Here's a dating idea. A man who starts out as a workout partner might end up as a husband.

As for diet, before you even begin to think about calories, concentrate on nutrition. If you eat everything you should be eating, you'll have less room for junk. That way, you can restrict your caloric intake, without starving yourself.

No do it because it is good for your health, look at all the health issues you create
Diabetes
Hypertention
Congested heart failure
and the list goes on. No do it because you want to feel good and feel good about yourself. You do it to make others like you more, you will be right back where you started because people will let you down and you will stuff your face with food to make yourself feel better. Start with small changes that eventuall add up. You know 2 cookies a week can add up to a 10 pd gain in a year. Just changing to diet soda, can be a change. Weight Watchers on line is good. Lots of online places, but you need accountability. Make a diary of food intake and ask someone to be your accountability partner and call you on the carpet if your cheating or not getting enough fruits, veggies and too much carbs. Start with exercise. Park at the far end of the parking lot. Take stairs and not elevators. When your upset take a walk. Get a dog that you have to take on walks daily. Find a physical activity that you love to do. Me it's swimming, but I mix it up with running and biking so it does not get boring. Get creative like belly dancing or dancing lessons. Just get moving

You shouldn't lose weight so that men will like you. You should lose weight for yourself and your own health. Extra meat its just more to love. There are men out there who like a little extra. But whatever you decision is make sure its what you want to do.

If you are big you should lose weight, but not for men. Men should love and care about you for you not your size. But you should lose weight for your own health and to make your self more happy and confident. Just do it for the right reasons.

No. Do what you want that can make you happy and fullfilled. Don't lose weight just for men...do it for yourself. Beside if the guy really likes you he will love you weather you are fat or thin. Its "through thick and thin". For yourself if you want to lose wieght for you body figure then do an excersise everyday and have diet in a right way...just be yourself..GOodluck..!

You should lose weight because you will feel and look better, and you will age better and well as increase your overall health. If you want to attract a man, you must look your best whenever you walk out your door, be friendly, confident in yourself and know that someone would be lucky to be yours. I am a bit fat too, even though I work out alot and try to eat fairly well. It is harder to meet someone worthwhile, but they are out there! Good luck! Don't sell yourself short!
