I don't see nothing different then or now. God want all of our love and to worship and to believe in him even today.

I presently do not see it (Deut. 4:5-6) as a radical statement, but as a matter of priority. I.E., put God first in your life.

P.S. To some perhaps that is a 'radical' idea.

Deut 6:4 “Listen, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah. 5 And you must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your vital force.

and

4`Hear, O Israel, Jehovah our God [is] one Jehovah;

5and thou hast loved Jehovah thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might,


If you mean radical in that it is Jehovah we are to worship, I've known that for years.
