It has not been attributed to global warming because the tabacco companies pay large amounts of money to the government to keep them from looking bad. Also, perhaps the people doing the studies smoke, and so they don't think about what they are doing as being harmful.

Man has not been conclusively linked to global warming. Read the articles carefully, you'll notice it says "many scientists believe" or something to that nature. It hasn't even been demonstrated that the globe is warmer than it should be. Historical information seems to indicate the globe has been much warmer in the past and that current temps are lower than average. So, possibly, we are not seeing global warming so much as we are seeing the end of a cooler stage..

Smoking is naturally linked to global warming, because of the harmful substances it releases after combustion. in large quantities as it exists around the globe of course there will be huge environmental degradation which will seriously affect climatic systems around the globe consequently contributing to global warming further.

It is the release of carbon dioxide so in a way it is... It is very minimal however compared to the use of gasoline... especially since only about 10-20% of people on Earth smoke...where as a much greater number will use automotive fuels and such

because then the government may actually have to start doing something about it seriously.. At the moment tobacco companies are very rich and powerful and the government make a mint out of taxing those that smoke .. so no one wants you to stop.

many "scientists" were paid to create false reports regarding global warming findings. this has been recently reported.

smoking is not a major contributor of global warming, compared to power plant and automobile emissions, but it is a huge contributor to overal indoor and outdoor air pollution.

It is the burning of plant material which has taken in CO2 while growing so is carbon neutral.Lighting the cigarette with butane gas lighters or phosphorus matches is not carbon neutral.
