I often sleep in a ponytail to keep my hair out of my face. Does anyone know if this habit causes breakage/damage to the hair? Thanks!

Tying your hair up damages your hair, no count number what time of the day that's. So, certain. napping with a ponytail will damage your hair. It does shop your face a lot less oily. notwithstanding, you need to apply some face purifier which could assist you with that.

no, i do it all the time. i don't suggest sleeping with a lot of grease in your hair because it causes acne but no it's not damaging to sleep in a ponytail.

Yes it does damage your hair. The rubber band cuts your hair. I use a bandanna it works good too.

I wore my hair very long for many years& I wore braides to bed. It is better to braid your hair and dont use rubber bands.
