Or does God like second life and encourge it as a suitable alternative to indulging those types of activities in the real world?

There are a lot of grey areas.

If you kill someone other than in war or in self defense (or defense of another), Thats a sin.

Cheating on your wife is a sin.

Technically, GOING to a strip club wouldn't be a sin, but lusting after what you see there might be (lust is a sin).

I don't know what second life is.

But here's a rule of thumb. If you have to ask, it probably is a sin, for you. Your conscience is a good guide.

Delphic, Second Life is a virtual reality world where you can live the life you always wanted to (including creating an avatar to look the way you wanted to look).

As for the strip club thing, I think it's as harmful there as it is in the real world.

God wants us to live our lives honestly before Him and others. Playing a game in general is just playing a game. The Bible doesn't mention going to strip clubs but Jesus said to his disciples in his sermon on the mount that if they looked at a woman with strong sexual desire that in their hearts they were cheating on their wives so I guess you're also probably commiting fornication in your heart if you are single and lust after women in a strip club.

Jesus also said if you lust over a woman you have committed adultery in your heart. Yes it is sin!
