Here are some opinions (from airlinequality.com):

26 August 2006

Sanford - Worcester and return. Apart from the firm seating, is this because seat base is also flotation device, had two very enjoyable flights. As seems to be the norm both departing on time and arriving early with cheerful cabin crew.

3 December 2005

We flew with Allegiant in late October early November of 2005, the flight attendants were friendly and cared about the passengers. My mom had to have a wheelchair and it was readily available and she was handled with care and concern, unlike Delta whom she just flew with.

7 October 2005

CID-LAS-CID. Cheap flights, really happy, glad to be there crew who laughed and joked their way to Vegas without sneering at the passengers the way nearly other airline crew does. Flight left 10 mins early and arrived 30 minutes early. Bags trough pretty quick. Had to pay extra $10 to reserve individual seats when booking but the plus was we were assigned priority booking status so were able to board before everyone else. Flight back was also boarded on time and left early arriving 45 minutes ahead of schedule

Sounds dodgy, like Alligator. It should be aligned to another airline. So if you check who supports it, then you should be able to tell if its a reasonable airline or not.
