Your point is well taken, but Jesus was a humanist. John the Baptist said Jesus should be baptizing him, not the other way around. Jesus washed the feet of his disciples at the last supper.

I've always my God would not force me to kiss is boot.

God tells me to have no other God before him nor to worship any other God.

Some burning bush tells me I must bow down, I would have a problem with that and agrue the matter.

My God knows he has my respect and love, he doesn't need to demand I show it and since we haven't met face to face I wouldn't believe any burning bush that order me about.

I guess in a since Jesus Christ is the only true living humanist. As God incarnate, He is the only one with any real claim to being a God himself. When humans declare themselves as God in the humanistic spirit, it's simply rebellion against the one true God.

I am not a christain. But that is a very good question. Frankly, if i were one, it would not mater to me because i have sense enough to know that Jesus is not God so i have no right to be worshipping him.

There would be no point in worshipping Jesus in such a scenario. He would not have been the Messiah.
