Not at all. Left school at 14 with no qualifications whatsoever and ended up marrying a schoolteacher. Incidentally I run rings round her on quiz shows and computers as I retain knowledge and self taught on PC.

I completed high school and technical college and worked as a Surgical tech on an OB unit for a long time, but now I am a stay at home mom.
I don't think that education matters in finding a mate, it might matter to a man if his woman happens to make more money than him, but I don't think that your head can tell you who your heart is going to love. You might try and do it that way for a while and only date people with the type of education you have but I think eventually your heart will take the matter out of your hands.
You can surround yourself with the type of people that you think are your equals in education and hope that there is a love connection found but whose to say that you don't fall for a friend of a friend that isn't in the category that you have chosen for yourself, what then. The whole category thing is out the window.

I dont think so, I left education when I was 16 went straight into work. But my boyfriend has been through university and come out with honors and is now a very good solicitor who mingles with big people. So no it doesn;t matter what your education is!

I have some college, and I will not date those who cannot understand my conversation. I know that probably reflects poorly on me, but I will not spend my life explaining. I like to use big words, write complicated poetry, and do a myriad of other things. I want to date somebody who will challenge me intellectually, a person I can debate with, a person who will occasionally beat me at Scrabble.

I am a technical author with an engineering diploma and tend to look for lasses with a good sense of humour but can have a sensible conversation about all subjects.
She must be petite and tactile and feminine, if you don't know what that is you ain't one.
How many girls on here are.

Education isn't the real issue here in regards to dating, If you are intelligent with life experience, the real word and are confident in you're self you can be with anyone. Its the real people who don't judge you on your background.

I'm still in high school, and this is my grad year. I don't like the idea of dating guys who are a year older than me, but a year younger is acceptable. Probably because that would give me a sense of power.
