I downloaded a pdf converter and pdf printer drive but wen i ask it to convert my document instead of it given

The pdf converter is supposed to give me my document in acrobat form but it does not, so i want to know if maybe i did not download it well or there are other features am supposed to have or use.

Yes PDF converter adn PDF printer driver is suppose to give you a PDF format document that is viewable by Acrobat reader.

But in order for your file to become a PDF format, when you select print function, you need to select the printer as PDF convert, otherwise the file is printed to a regular printer.

YOu can also select PDF driver as default, click Start --> Printer and Faxes --> right click the PDF driver and select make it as default.

The best I have use so far is the PDF Machine by Broadgun.

Installing PDF converter Only not enough to have PDF documents you should install a PDF reader again to see PDF doc . when it asks you to install a printer you go to control panel and install a virtually printer .You don't require a really printer.

The software driver of almost any printer will save a file in PDF format. For example, on my Mac with Epson Stylus Photo 1270 printer, I choose File > Print. Then I click on "Copies and Pages" and change it to "Output Options". There is now a check box for "Save as file". That's all, folks.

Sounds like you want a pdf writer and that is not free, it is about 300$

i think in order to convert to Pdf u need acrobat professional or at least adobe distiller

Make sure your pdf. printer (which should be installed when you installed the driver), is set as the default printer.

there are many different converters and you don't state what your using so it is hard to help you but I use a free one called primopdf and it works great.
