its very important in weight loss
water can help prevent constipation, by adding more liquid and keeping things moving on through your body
Water is the best beauty treatment,Water will do wonders for your looks! It flushes out impurities in your skin, leaving you with a clear, glowing complexion. It also makes your skin look younger. Skin that is becoming saggy, either due to aging or weight loss, plumps up very nicely when the skin cells are hydrated.
if you dont drink enough water it results in constipation, dry and itchy skin, acne, nose bleeds, repeated urinary tract infections, dry and unproductive coughs, constant sneezing, sinus pressure and headaches. The body has to moisturize the air before it reaches the lungs and does so through the mucous membranes lining the nasal passages and the bronchi. As available fluid decreases, the mucous lining becomes drier. This in turn irritates the lungs, causing them to become more reactive to dust, mold particles, cigarette smoke and other irritants, and less resistant to viruses and bacteria. The result: dry cough and bronchitis
The human body is about 70% water and cannot function properly without enough water every day.

Additionally if you drink ice cold water around 1.5 litres a day you will use energy to heat the water to body temp this can be enough to use the same energy as a pound of fat per week. Drinking soda can provide you with huge amounts of sugar. There is around 9 teaspoons of sugar in each 350 ml can. Even drinking diet versions the body can crave sugar from the sweetness making you feel hungrier so you over eat. Fast foods normally contain lots of fats and calories and can be hard to realise how many cals your eating. A big mac and fries with a large milkshake and a sundae to follow is almost 2,000 calories. That's more than you should be having per day.

I guess the main one is you won't die of thirst ... second it will flush your renal system relieving you of toxins that build up through de-hydration ... and three it don't cost much (unless you buy it bottled)
