how to open a .rar file ?
i can open it with power dvd, bs player, quicktime and windows media player.

.rar files are similar to .zip files. Search the web for a shareware version of WinRar. That'll open it.

you can open (or extract the file) by using a .rar managment wizard such as "WinRar" or "Rar for windows", by extracting the files in the .rar extension to a new folder.

download program below it says trial but it's fully functional and does not expire you have to fill out something but thats no big deal this program handles alot of different file types

all you do is download WINRAR...once you have it in your pewter you just click on the first file...

it's an archive... like zip, tar, etc
so use an archiver...
