Perhaps you should try actually reading the book, instead of just searching for quotes to support your own personal point of view.

There are enough people in this world using religion to try to enforce some warped social agenda on others, why should I help one more to mis-interpret scripture for their own ends?

When Jesus was in his damning Mr Hyde mode, when he was spiritually terroristic fighting back because things were not going his way all the time, he said things like ....it would be better for this or that to happen to a person than that someone would hurt one of my children. Eternal Damnation is in the old testament. Death and what might happen to us after has been paid attention to or worshipped and idolized, feared throughout the ages with no proof for the terror that is offered up by the elders of religious organizations. The best quote is John 14 12. Greater Works than these that I do will they do who come after me, because I go unto my Father ...or go into heaven. If you can see the people who have terrorized you as they are in heaven, you will realize that this life is a temporary roller coaster ride and we are all doing what God wants us too, our best. We can help each other do better with our passions but our passions were meant to be from God!

God's word is not a sword we use to kill the enemy.... It is a book of love... And they shall know we are Christian's by our Love...

Some Christian are so overly passionate about the Love of Christ they feel compelled to share the Good News with ears that are not ready to hear.

The Bible warns us to not waste our time on such people.

Mt 7:6
"Do not give what is holy to dogs; and do not throw your pearls before swine, or they will trample them under foot and turn and maul you.

Jesus called the twelve followers together. Jesus sent them out in groups of two. Jesus gave them power over evil spirits. This is what Jesus told his followers: “Take nothing for your trip. Take only a stick for walking. Take no bread, no bag, and no money in your pockets. Wear shoes, and take only the clothes you are wearing. When you enter a house, stay in that house until you leave that town. If any town refuses to accept you or refuses to listen to you, then leave that town. Shake their dust off your feet. This will be a warning to them.”

So if we make ourselves heard we can expect this reaction of being trampled and mauled.

seek the fruits of the Holy Spirit in your life it will get you much further than anger and harsh words.

peace

I just read your clarification that you want to "strike fear into the eyes of your foes." So I erased my previous answer.

A non-believer has no right to quote from the Bible, since you need the Holy Spirit to understand it.

I still wish you peace, but hope you come to repentence some day.

Jeremiah 5:21
Hear now this. O foolish people & without understanding;which have eyes and see not;which have ears and hear not.
22 Fear ye not me? saith the Lord. Will you not tremble at my presence, which have placed the sand for the bound of the sea by a perpetual decree, that cannot pass it; and yet the waves thereof toss themselves, yet they cannot prevail, though they roar, yet they cannot pass over it?

This one is a newly discovered verse for me, it's probably not what u are looking for, but if you think about it, it is a subtle way for God to let us know how much power He has over EVERYTHING, the almighty. And how upset He gets when we don't pay attention to His truth.

God is not scary or a God to punish you either. God only wants us to follow the commandments and be in the world as his image and be kind to each other and live in harmony and peace. The old bible written by the old type interpretors had it all in Latin and the priest would throw fire and brimstone at the congregation and scare the hell out of the parishoners to abide by the rules of the CHURCH, not the rules of GOD. But now it is spoken and written in English and or the language of your understanding there is not as much wrath of God as used to be told to us in the pulpits, good hunting for God's fear as he does not want us to fear him at all.

Try Ezekiel, especially the quote Samuel L. Jackson spouted before his character killed his enemies in Pulp Fiction. I don't know exactly where it is, but it's in there.

Edit: Hey, I found it for you.

Ezekiel 25:17
"The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities
of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the
name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of
darkness, for he is truely his brother's keeper and the finder of lost
children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengence and furious
anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will
know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengence upon thee."

Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. This is the way to find out if they have the Spirit of God: If a prophet acknowledges that Jesus Christ became a human being, that person has the Spirit of God.
If a prophet does not acknowledge Jesus, that person is not from God. Such a person has the spirit of the Antichrist. You have heard that he is going to come into the world, and he is already here. But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won your fight with these false prophets, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.
These people belong to this world, so they speak from the world's viewpoint, and the world listens to them. But we belong to God; that is why those who know God listen to us. If they do not belong to God, they do not listen to us. That is how we know if someone has the Spirit of truth or the spirit of deception.
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is born of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God--for God is love.
