I am having trouble choosing the bridesmaid dresses. Here are a few links, please give me your opinion. The wedding is in January and is somewhat formal with a sitdown dinner.

The second one, the tea length strapless dress. It's simple, elegant, and versatile. And the rhinestone belt gives it a hint of shine and glitz that makes it stand out as a classy dress. It's also a great style that will look good on most women.
The first one is a little short and basic. It looks like it would work better for a cocktail party.
The third one is just too much for a semi-formal wedding. Besides the gown length, the detailing on the skirt is a bit heavy for a maids dress. It looks like it might distract from your gown and look.
And the last one looks a little homecoming or prom, i.e. a little too youthful and not mature enough. Even if the maids are all under 25, you want them to look like they are adults in the wedding.

Well, I think the first one is the best out of price ranges. I have been a bridesmaid 9 times. I would be greatful for that price!

My favorite is number 2 and number 3. It really depends on how formal your wedding is and what your dress looks like. For a day time wedding, number 2 would be perfect. It would be great fora not so formal evening wedding. Number 3 would be better if you were having a more formal wedding and if you bustles on your wedding dress.

Good luck! I got my bridesmaid dresses for April at Alfred Angelo and did the full length.

Honestly, I really like the second one until I re-read your description again. I don't think it is very good for two things: one) that time of the year it is going to be too cold, 2) it is too formal, a sitdown meal is really formal. But that is just my opinion. If you really like those dresses then I say number 2 because it is really pretty. I don't like the first because it is too plain, the third will take away from you (it looks more like a bride dress for destination weddings) and the fourth reall only suits certain girls.

I did find some different links I like though if you want to take a look:

It is similar to your others but longer:

Hope this gives you an idea of what I am talking about!!! I did put a few of the short dresses back in there because you might like them but they are a little more formal! Congratulations!

1 and 2 I thought were similar. I would chose 1 over 2
3 is too much, i think it would take away from you, it's you day not the bridesmaid's you should be the one to stand out.
4 is my pick, it is simple and elegant. Also I am not a fan of strapless. It always seems you are pulling the damn dress up. Once you start dancing you feel like your boobs will fall out.

1st or the 4th one because the 3rd one look to formal and if your wedding dress is plain and simple, the bridesmaid will take the spotlight off you. I'm getting marry too. And here are some website I have gone through with some nice formal dresses that can be bridesmaid dress. Go to edealinfo.com for coupons for these sites.

One of the first two (the strapless, cocktail length) would be perfect (though you should get wraps with them for January). They are simply detailed and can be worn again. The third one is Absolutely beautiful, but probably would not be worn again and the price is probably a lot more. The last one (one with halter top) looks cheaply made and looks like a "junior prom" dress instead of a bridesmaid's dress.

I like the 1st or second one, the first one a tad more cuz I think it would be more functional for the girls after, and its cheaper, only thing, can they try um on? My issue with the 3rd is that the skirt it cute, but I think it will become outdated pretty quickly, and the 3rd ones pretty, but it wouldn't really work as well for girls who are a little more blessed up top! lol! Don't know if thats even an issue with yours but its somehting to keep in mind! good luck! and congrats!

the last 1

I personally don't care for 2 or 4. I think 3 is beautiful, but a bit too expensive if you're having your bridesmaids buy their own dresses. I think 1 is perfect - it's simple, elegant, and inexpensive. Then the girls can use the money they're saving to buy great shoes and get their hair and nails done. Good luck!

Just some things to consider... it's going to be cold, and if they are not dark/tan they might be washed out, since your skin gets paler when your cold. Also if they are "bigger" girls a strapless may not be so good b/c on the lack of support. And if your dress doesn't have pick-ups like the 3rd one it might look like they are upstaging you with a more formal dress.

But personally I like the 1st one.
