The Bible teaches that Satan is a fallen angel.
A human would not be able to kill him.
Scripture see in this being a fallen angel, called "Satan" or the "devil".
Satan was at first a good angel, made by God: "The devil and the other demons were indeed created naturally good by God, but they became evil by their own doing."
Scripture speaks of a sin of these angels. This "fall" consists in the free choice of these created spirits, who radically and irrevocably rejected God and his reign.
The power of Satan is, nonetheless, not infinite.
He is only a creature, powerful from the fact that he is pure spirit, but still a creature.
He cannot prevent the building up of God's reign.
With love in Christ.

By the look of your question I might say you have been really troubled by this so called 'Satan'. Its not only priests who delve deep into the subject and say good or bad things about Satan, scholars who read about it or specialists who have done some study on the subject also deal with it. It is first not to put scare into you about Satan but to put some sense about the subject in question. Everyone during his or her childhood prone to fail in their way growing up to adulthood and one can often find a child asking question about almost anything the child wish to know. There were instance when I grew up my folks at home used snake as a metaphor to educate me on avoiding bad people or bad things in life. My mother used to call the crows while I was eating and throw the food to them so that I eat well in the process. I heard numerous stories about the so called Satan coming to pick me up if I did not do my studies well. Good education is picking up the best and leaving the worst out and that is only possible to quote references from the past, fables, mythological beliefs, Bible, Quran, Bhagavat Gita, to quote a few and from a lot philosophical studies. Take the best as reference point and forget about what is said as worst. What good the Satan is going to give to the mankind? Nothing. Why does one have to worry about something that is not going to do any good to human beings. Live life the best.

Whatever anybody say must have scientific background. Everything must be backed by authentic evidence. If a person is confronted with the Satan, let him come out and present it before the public. The question of believing or disbelieving does not arise unless it is known with concrete proof.

The priests are trying hard to establish the existence of God.
They also teach us God is the most powerful.
They further say that we human beings are lower than worms infront of God.
Then He needs an enemy.
The fictitious enemy should be very powerful, but not as God Himself.
Who can be that?
Satan.

There is no Satan. Evil is in people's own minds. If somebody cut off the head of what they thought was Satan, they were psychotic and probably killed somebody.

Satan is a spiritual being, and is very much alive, and dangerous. However, when Jesus Christ returns, that will be the end of Satan. Read the Bible, it tells the whole truth about Satan.

Satan truly exists, as he is a fallen angel, spoken of in scripture, who actually tempted Jesus Christ.
Satan enjoyed dominion over mankind until he went too far, and arranged to have Jesus crucified.
Now, the only power Satan has is what flawed humans give to him by willingly cooperating in his lies, deceptions, and other abominations.

If you believe there is a God, then you have to believe there is a Satan. They are the 'positive & negative' energy this Cosmos needs to grow, and grow it MUST.
Once it stops growing, it will stagnate and die.
The question must be; Is there a God? If not then there's no Satan. Just positive & negative energy.

there are positive and negative forces throughout the universe. thus there are good and evil forces also. therefore one needs to presume as long as there is one there will always be the other so the people and religious leaders who say Satan is alive and well are correct in their warnings.

Satan is much alive but is much weaker than God. His latest deception is to tell human beings that he does not exist anymore in order to deceive us but we must not worry coz Jesus has already defeated him at the cross. All we have to do is to totally surrender ourselves to God thru Jesus in order to defeat Satan
