That's is purely up to what you mean by talking to God. When Muslims pray we believe we are closest to God...However, we cannot see, or touch God. We aren't the prophet so we don't believe we can directly speak to God. We pray to God and no one else, we confide in God and no one else, we ask forgiveness from God.

Common Muslim praise and pray 5 times a day , obligatory prayers.
Our connection to God in a day is much2 more frequent than any other religion.

Well,how can anyone talk to God?I am a muslim,and when we pray,we feel that we are directly in front of God and bowing to Him,asking for forgiveness as well as ask Him for worldly wishes..He is in our hearts.No one can talk to God,or see Him physically,God is in our heart.

Of course Muslims can have a connection with God.
Hadith: Allah said: "I am as My servant thinks I am. I am with him when he makes mention of Me. If he makes mention of Me to himself, I make mention of him to Myself; and if he makes mention of Me in an assembly, I make mention of him in an assemble better than it. And if he draws near to Me an arm's length, I draw near to him a fathom's length. And if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed."
