He might mean it or he might be joking or something... You haven't specified if you guys are best friends or colleagues or studying in the same class or what? You know what? Take it from me and pretend that you didn't get the text and see if he brings it up next time you see him, ok? Hey.. all phone companies sometimes mess up with the signal and all! That way you see his face and his reaction and know if he was joking or he actally has feelings for you! As soon as you get the truth then ask yourself about your feelings of the matter and act accordingly! You love him back? Tell him! You don't feel the same way? Be gentle and kind when you tell him. find out if he's genuine cuz he MITE just be talking crap.if he's genuine and sincere and u can picture the two of u in a relationship beyond friendship then go for it...but if u don't feeel the same way for him as he does for u then being the friend that he is, he should respect that and not force u into anything and allow u to grow to love him on your own...best of luck
