The reason Catholic priests are no longer allowed to be married was a financial one rather than a biblical reason.
Long ago, they were able to, but problems arose ... when the priest died, the wife and kids would claim rights to the land and the rectory, leaving the church with no choice but to buy more land and build another rectory. So they decided to only accept unmarried men, then had them take a vow of celibacy.

Priests will never be allowed to marry, however married men may be allowed to become priests in the Latin Rite of the Catholic Church, if the Church believe such a change in policy will be in the best interest of the Church and the priesthood. Married men are already allowed to become priests in the Eastern Rite of the Catholic Church.
If priests or ministers or rabbis were removed from ministry because they sin, there would be no such ministries.

First God solely created sexual relationship to pro-create. And if pro-creation is such a beautiful gift from God, why are the so-called holiest people like Roman Catholic Priest be banned from it?
Another christian logic that I never understood.
What is so wrong about falling inlove and being married and making love and then producing kids?

The only Roman Catholic priests who have wives are those in the eastern rite, but they were married before they were ordained priest.Currently there are no provisions in the law to allow Catholic priests to be married.

No. I"m a devote RC and I don't believe that priests should marry. It has been our tradition for centuries. Would you as that Jews no longer wear the yalmake or Hindus eat a hamburger (if I recall, the cow is sacred to them) just because you think it's wrong? It's how things are done.

Pastors have a relationship with God his first priority and then with their wife, what would hinder a priest to do the same.
Will the catholic church ever allow it...well that is a whole different story.

Catholic priests and nuns take a vow of celibacy, so the answer would be no. This is not allowed in any domination of the catholic church. God bless

I'm not Catholic, but the Bible encourages marriage. So I think Priests should get married.
I don't know if they consider Peter as a priest, but he was married.

I don't see a problem with it. Seems like every other pastor in a Christian church is allowed to get married, why can't a Catholic one?
