Orthodox Jews believe you are not suppose to cut your beard (Leviticus 19:27) They consider it a sign of holiness. Eastern Christianity men wore beards until marriage. Islam for various reasons believe men should wear beards- i am not sure all the reasons why. Sikhism as stated in the 5 K's also commands beards. I am personally a christian with belief in some of the Jewish culture. Keep in mind that culturse all through History have done things that hold no spritual significance and in fact some things angered God. I think your best choice would be made only after prayer and strong conviction. Keep in mind to that the people who wear beards the most are people that are generally in harsh lands such as the middle east so some could argue they wear beards for practical reasons such as protecting thier face.

Yes,

look at the Amish people, the Muslims, the religious Jews, past pictures of any saints.
And better to keep a beard but shave your moustache, and wear a cap.

No.

However Jews, Muslims and Amish all agree you're not even supposed to trim it. It's supposed to be au natural!

Although technically married men can shave completely.

In Islam the Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) had a long beard but no mustache. So if you see men sporting a beard of the Muslim faith its because they are semi supposed to. However, its not enforced.
