The Dinosaurs are from a period before Adam. There is a gap between,"In the beginning God created The Heaven, and The Earth."
and,"And The Earth was without form and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And The Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters." That is Geneses 1:1, and Geneses 1:2
We do not believe the Universe is only 6000 years old. We even recognize that The Earth is Very old, but we know that God recreated life on The Earth, Made Man, breathed Life in to him, and commanded him to,"Replenish" The Earth. Can you see what I am telling you ?
The Earth is Old, and has had Two Creations. Our Creation is most likely 6000 to 7000 years old.
Before his fall with 1/3 of the Angles Lucifer was an Arch Angle, He has his own throne on Earth then. The creatures we see in the Fossil Record come from that period. When he fell, a curse fell on Earth then, all life was changed just as it was when Adam fell. God started over on Earth with Man.

The Bible account in the first chapter of Genesis simply states the general order of creation. It allows for possibly thousands of millions of years for the formation of the earth and many millenniums in six creative eras, or “days,” to prepare the earth for human habitation.
Some dinosaurs (and pterosaurs) may indeed have been created in the fifth era listed in Genesis, when the Bible says that God made “flying creatures” and “great sea creatures.” Perhaps other types of dinosaurs were created in the sixth epoch. The vast array of dinosaurs with their huge appetites would have been appropriate considering the abundant vegetation that evidently existed in their time.—Genesis 1:21 ( So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good." ) New KJV
When the dinosaurs had fulfilled their purpose, God ended their life. But the Bible is silent on how he did that or when. We can be sure that dinosaurs were created by Jehovah God for a purpose, even if we do not fully understand that purpose at this time. They were no mistake, no product of evolution. That they suddenly appear in the fossil record unconnected to any fossil ancestors, and also disappear without leaving connecting fossil links, is evidence against the view that such animals gradually evolved over millions of years of time. Thus, the fossil record does not support the evolution theory. Instead, it harmonizes with the Bible’s view of creative acts of God.
Some of the older translations of the Bible at times use the word “dragons” to translate the Hebrew tan·ni·nim′ (“sea creatures, ). (Ps. 74:13--" Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters. 148:7-- " Praise the LORD from the earth, ye dragons, and all deeps" Isa. 27:1-- "In that day Jehovah with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan the swift serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea." Am. Standard Version
The term “dragon” (Greek, dra′kon) is found in the Christian Greek Scriptures. Dinosaurs were the giants of the animal kingdom, a remarkable testimony to God’s power of creation. Only our Creator knows why the dinosaurs disappeared from the earth.

The word dinosaur was only 'invented' in the 1950's or so. Thus it can hardly be used in the King James or the originals if it is not available.
But since dinosaurs were land animals then they are implied as being part of the creation and being on Noah's ark.
There are also two specific references that describe creatures that are probably dinosaurs; those being Behemoth and Levithan.

Bruefly, the Earth was created billions of years ago. Then came dinosaurs, plus who knows how many other creations. Then Adam & Eve. The concept of 'days' is different with God - "a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day" - but is used to help us understand. The Old Testament goes back about 5,500 years, the New Testament 2000.

The Bible is a group of stories about God's interaction with humans. Dinosaurs and their whole history really doesn't have any bearing on that. The seven "days" referred to in the planet's creation is actually referring to time periods. The Hebrew word for "day" that is originally used doesn't mean 24-hour period. So, in those time periods I'm sure tons of things happened but they don't pertain to God's interaction with humans.
If the Bible contained all of earth's history, it would way about a ton and no one would be able to read it.
There are multiple passages referring to large monsters in the Bible. One scripture has a statement about a Behemoth. Most likely, they are discussing dinosaurs.

At the time of the origin for the writings of the bible, the people then had no knowledge of prehistoric creatures so they couldn't comment on them. If you're referring to the King James version, you know that the description of "creation" is a little far fetched, but was accepted at that time.God formed the earth with His hands? Ok.
The "big bang" makes a whole lot more sense. The dinosaurs were probably some type of experiment in life forms for this planet. Funny how they all just vanished...

My kids have asked this question too. First, the Bible doesn't go back 2000 years, that's just the New Testament, where Jesus enters the picture. The Old Testament is much older and starts with Genesis, the Creation. The concept of time in the bible does not necessarily match our time keeping of today's standars. God's 'Day 1' could have lasted 10 million years for all we know. God's day is not 24 hours long. Anyway, regarding the dinosaurs, God does create all living creatures and the dinosaurs came much before the animals we know today. Again, we don't know how long Gods timetable is so on the day when He created animals it could have been millions of years long to us. The same with all the other days of creation.

Again this proved that we are an evolutionary species, the same as birds and reptiles and all other creatures today are.We were not put here by god -as back in a time when we were hunting and gathering the same as other creatures we were not more intelligent than any other animal. We have just been lucky to have evolved the way we have same as some species have become smaller or bigger and have learnt to adapt to environmental and social changes.

Good question. For years we have been digging up dinosaur bones and not one is mentioned in the bible. I'm going to stick around to see what hilarious answers you get on this one. Do you think that they were in the garden of Eden and when god got rid of that he killed the dinosaurs and Colin the unicorn?

Actually in Job it mentions an animal called the behemoth that resembles a brontosaurus. Some ppl have suggested it could be a hippo, but a hippo doesn't have a "tail that sways like a cedar"
Additionally, there's another animal named a leviathan that seems like some sea-borne dinosaur.
There are also numerous archaeological finds that correlate with biblical events.
