I am a Christian who sometime gets discouraged. Does this happen to you, what do you do to deal when life gets tough?

Unlike Christians, I do not shove my head up the butt-hole of religious belief to deal with adversity. How does delusionalism help one to deal with reality in any meaningful manner?

No matter what religion you follow, or if you follow none but are basically honest, you will have a 'Guardian Angel' that looks over you.
This is not some ghostly apparition, it is merely a sub-conscious mind that sits on your shoulder the same way as 'Jimminy cricket' is described in 'Phinnochio'.

You can communicate at will by giving them a name. Any name will do. The best form of initial communication is to sit in a quiet room where you'll be undisturbed then just 'Doodle'. The doodling will turn into writing, and at this point just ask a question.

Amazingly you'll find yourself writing a reply you wouldn't normally have imagined.

Any time you're feeling low, or at a loss to make the 'right' decisions, you can repeat the process any time, or you can simply 'ask' for help. Providing the question is not for selfish gain, you'll be helped.

This sounds whacky, RIGHT??

Try it secretly on your own, it works, and it gives you 'right' answers.

Being a Christian does not mean that we do not encounter difficulties. But that we have God and fellow Christians (better still the matured ones who eat the word of God as meat) to help us to walk through our difficulties. God promised that He will not allow any temptation in our lives that we cannot bear and will make a way of escape so that we can bear it (1 Cor 10:13). God promised when we pray, particularly in the spirit, that all things, even the uncomfortable ones, will work to the good of us who love God and are called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28). God has also given us not a spirit of fear but of love, power and a sound mind (2 Tim 1:7). When you are discouraged start to praise and worship God for we are called to put on the garments of praise for the spirit of heaviness (Isa 61:3). Try not to be alone when you are discouraged keep in the company of fellow Christians who can encourage you.

Yes i feel the weight of the world pressing down on me sometimes. I watch as people who are not religious get what they want and enjoy saying and doing what ever they please. i don't envy them but sometimes i wonder why. Then i had a revelation. These people get what they want so that they will not change their behavior or stray from the path that they have taken. I believe Lucifer gives them token gifts in order to keep them in line. They do not ask him for these gifts he just does it silently and without any fanfare to keep them where they are. Often when the world weighs me down i find it necessary to sit or stand quietly for a moment and clear my mind of all the emotions and doubts that clutter it up. When i am free of these thoughts and emotions i think more clearly and i am at peace. I hope this works for you. Peace.

I don't follow any religion, but believe that you should believe in that which makes your life a better place to be in.With all the discouraging events that unfold around us,yes it is hard to believe that a/your god would allow for these horrific events to happen to not only the children, but to US has a whole people. But again believe in what makes you feel good. Most people need to know that there is someone or something that is above what we see in front of our eyes...Believe in yourself and those that matter....

It happens to the best of us. Just remember that God loves you and wouldn't give you any challenges that you couldn't handle. It may seem hard now but the rewards in the end will make it all worth while. Also remember, God is listening so don't be afraid to talk to him, and ask for help when things seem a little tougher than usual.

Life will always be tough. You just have to rest in the comfort of knowing that your life will go on forever in Heaven.

I always turn to God in prayer and then fall on your friends and family. Hopefully you have a church with a strong sense of community, full of people that you can turn to.

I am going through a trial right now. My car is about to break down, and have no money.
But God has made a promise to me.
He will take care of me if I just trust in Him.
No matter how bad my circumstances get, I just praise His name!!! He is the Creator of all Life!!
Even though I'm in a valley right now, I see Him working in my Life to prepare me for the mountaintop.
Be diligent all day, and prepare for the next step in your life.
If you are going through problems, CONGRATS, you are in God's perfect will, and you will see His glory on the other side!!!

JUST PRAISE GOD FOR EVERYTHING THAT HE HAS DONE IN YOUR LIFE!!!!

Accept that life is tough. That's what makes it worth living.
The rest will fall neatly into place.
People who preach about paradise and utopia, are not looking out for your best interest.
