Well, if you are going to eat sandwiches, change the bread to whole grain. never again put a chip in your mouth, if you need to make a sandwich interesting, like have something with it, try some bananna peppers, tomatos, or some other vegetable sticks. you will soon never go back to those greasy heart valve clogging chips!!!!!! You can have a salad with your sandwich, but dip your fork in the dressing and then dip it in the salad, then you won't suffer the concenquences of a salad drenched in dressing that can be almost as bad as chips and you can't beat the flavor. You must change your eating habbits you will feel better too! Energy!!! Oh Yea!!! Just go for it a week, you will change. Hey, congraduations, you ae trying!I believe you will succeed!

Bring your healthy lunch to work and don't bring any money with so you can't buy anything else. Are you putting chicken or turkey in your salad - I find that makes it more appealing than just vegetables. You should also be eating something every 3-4 hours. Eating healthy snacks throughout the day will help eliminate overeating later on. A handful of almonds, protein bar, fruit and yogurt are all good choices. Another trick I try is when I feel like snacking and I'm not really hungry I just pop a piece of gum in - works everytime. Don't forget to drink plenty of water all day - this helps curb appetitie and is a natural energy booster.

Your like me, I jog 1 hour a day 3-6 days a week and I lose nothing because of my heavy intake of calories.
There are times when I even put on weight to the point where my pants don't fit so I have two sizes of clothes in my closet.
I am trying to gain control because I can't keep exercising like this daily. What helps and hurts is that I like, OK, love exercising. I have tried everything so now I am on Hoodia Supreme to help gain control over my eating for 10 days. I am not suggesting that you do this because I have always said that I would never try diet pills and here I am because for over 9 months I can't seem to get control over my eating. Best of luck. I hope you get some good ideas.
P.S. I too try bringing items to work but instead my change is put into the candy/snack machine.

I dont know if your interested in trying weight loss or diet supplements. There is a fairly new one out called NV it also contains beauty enhancing properties. It contains 3 complexes that will help you lose weight, feel energized, while nurturing you hair, skin and nails. You take a pill before breakfast and then another 6 hours after. I work out at the gym 5 days a week and lift weights 2 days a week. Stay on a low fat/low carb diet and make sure you're drinking plently of water, and taking in plenty of fiber. You'll see results in no time! Be strong!

Yeah. In the back of the book "Enter the Zone" by Barry Sears is a food list. He lists each type of food (protein, carbohydrates and fat) by good, fair, poor, based on how much sugar they turn into or how fast they do it. Copy the list and then highlight the foods you like in the good/best/preferred categories, then make up your lunches out of that.
For example, if you like tuna, make tuna sandwiches on whole grain bread. It will be better for you than on white bread.
You can do the portion control he recommends and the in between meal snacks too, but if you just go with the recommended foods, you may start seeing that weight go away at about 2 pounds a week.

Before you eat go to the bathroom and take a look and yourself in the mirror and remind yourself how uncomfortable you feel looking like this and how much nicer your clothes would fit if you just lost a little weight, then turn to the side in the front of the mirror and look at your stomach salad will help it shrink

If you are working out and not losing weight it may because you are producing muscle in place of fat and muscle weighs more than fat????
I dont know what to suggest about your eating habits as i would be a hyprocrite as im exactly the same as you!!!!
Try taking something in that you actually like, pasta etc? Or take in your own sandwhiches which are healthier than the ones you buy?
Think it all comes to will power which both of us dont seem to have!
Good Luck though!!!

Try a balanced diet. When you cut back on calories your body responds by trying to save them. If you eat a balanced diet most of the time and avoid any type of junk food, you will eventually get into shape. When in doubt, consider these: 1. Everything you eat must be good for you, i.e., yes to pasta, no to candybars and 2.never go hungry, because going hungry will simulate famine and your body will reduce calory expenditure.

You gotta stay tough! Get some willpower! Instead of the sandwhich, try buying a salad with sandwhich meat in it... Like a salad with turkey breast, ham, chicken, etc. You can do it!
