I know!!! That is something I miss now that I quit smoking.
It releases all the tension and relaxes you.
That feeling is associated with taste therefore tasting much better than it normally does.

personally i think its because you are so hiped up because of pleasure you just felt and once you light up that cig you can just relax and still feel it and think about it while you puff away
