Muslims became a race when your government decided to go to war with "Them".
That is the nature of politics and propaganda. They second step after choosing an enemy is to create an inhuman image that you can vilify and get people to agree to attack. The Russian people were not people living under a socialist Government during the "Cold War", they had to be Filthy Commies. Before that the German people were Nazi Scum or Huns, and all Italians were Fascists.
Race, religion or politics it is all the same difference.

Since when was Muslim seen as a race? I think it was always very clearly stated that Muslim is an evil religion, and the prejudice is against any race who practices this ridiculous religion.

By the way, I think Christianity is just as evil, I'm anti-ALL religion, so I do not discriminate against Muslims only, I basically discriminate against all religion equally.

Yes it's frightening because it's a restriction on the right to challenge someone else's beliefs. I think it's perfectly proper and moral to criticise the religion of Islam for what it says about women but if I do it publicly in Britain it gets interpretted as a hate crime which is absurd. The government pushed for this religious hatred law to appease British muslims.

good point, back in the 1960's latinos were consider "White" but in 1962 nixon administration made up the word Hispanic/latino, i wonder what would muslim people bee if muslim is only a religion?
