About an hour a day, doesnt have to be strenuous. Brisk walk or something. My mother in law is 63 and was told by her Doctor to do this.

It depends on your general level of fitness, but an hour's walking to get your heart rate up and a bit of sweat flowing should be youir aim. Other things you could do is swimming, and light weight training.

Regardless of your age you should be taking 20 minutes of excerise at LEAST 3 times a week.
It depends on what (if any health problems - arthritis) you are capable of doing.

I personally think that exercise kills us old folk. Go for a check-up, and talk with your doctor; that ought to be enough exercise until your next visit to see him.

As much as you feel comfortable with... but I guess it should at least be a half hour walk every day.
