They have topical products on the market that you can rub on a babies gums that will ease the pain. You can also give them ibuprofen. I would check with his/her doctor and make sure that teething is the problem as I didn't know that the baby would have watery stool.

Unfortunately there's no real helping the pain when it comes to getting your braces tightened. Ibuprofen and keep a pack of gum around to chew on. Like babies chew on things when their teeth are coming in and hurting, chewing on gum makes your teeth feel better when you have braces. Because gum is soft and won't undo the work they've done. Truth is there's really nothing else that can be done. You just have to wait it out, but it's very much worth it when you get your braces off and get to show off that beautiful smile.

My doctor told me about teething tablets for the pain. I bought mine at Wal-mart. The dissolve instantly and seem to help. It is not a medication but Homopathic. Some of the other things may not be avoidable. It's just a part of teething but I understand wanting to make your baby as comfortable as possible.

You could get some freeze pops.
You could let them 'chew' on a clean, cold wash rag.
You could buy a teething ring.
Use baby orajel but be sure not to lay the baby on its back afterwards because it tends to numb the throat. You don't want the baby to choke.
Buy some teething biscuits.
Use childrens motrin or childrens tylenol.

I'd try baby orajel for the pain. I'd ask a doctor about the temperature and stool. I don't recall my daughter having those problems, so I don't want to give you uninformed advice.
