very much so
I find irony in the fact that Christianity doesnt mention anything about Jesus from the time of birth until 14-15. then he isn't mentioned again until about 30 A.D.
Then christianity doesn't talk about what happened from about 34 A.D to 80 A.D.
Those are pretty large gaps.
I find irony in the fact that these people worship this guy who they don't know a damn thing about.
If i was devoting my life toward christianity, i would want to know ALOT more about the person i was living my life so vicariously through.

I find it ironic that people, such as you are the first ones to say that our government must protect us and then the first ones ones to complain about that same thing.
In Iraq and elsewhere, Islamic terrorists capture citizens from other countries and even their people. Many are beheaded. Of course, this is not torture, beheading doesn't take that long really, so no torture there.
George Bush is doing what needs to be done. President Bush does not condone torture as you are making it sound and what would you know about it anyway? Would you rather that the terrorist suspects be released? Would you rather that we simply say to them go about your business?
The people that died in the World Trade Center, on the USS Cole, in the American Embassies in Africa, World Trade Center 1993, The marines in Lebanon, thousands of Israelis, were not your relatives were they? Nick Berg wasn't your brother, was he? It is nice though for you to be on both sides of an issue all the time. If another terrorist attack happens you will be the first to say that President Bush didn't do enough to stop it. But until then you can complain about how the poor, little, suspected terrorists are treated. (Nick Berg, a contractor in Iraq, who was kidnapped and beheaded, and video taped, and put onto the internet) Of course beheading isn't torture so that is not a bad thing, right?

You watch too much tv...no one is getting tortured. Seems to me Sadam has been getting pretty good treatment. And as far as the ALLEGATIONS go against a few of our troops, well, innocent until proven guilty. And even if they did what they are accused of, we're talking a handlful of bad guys in the midst of thousands. You would see that in any country's army. So to say our administration is "torturing" people is pretty much not true.

And if he didn't allow any and all methods in order to find the truth and save his country you would call him a pansy for not having the nerve to torture a few individuals in order to save thousands of his own people.
Either way, you will find something wrong with him. Your opinion is noted.

Well, the popularity of The Passion of the Christ movie shows that Christians love seeing people tortured.

I think it is ironic indeed, but we are talking about criminals and the safety of the country. I think in such situations some extra measures should be taken.
