Blind people like regular stuff like the rest of us. Luxurious soaps from L'Occitane - they have Honeysuckle, Orange Cinnamon, Milk, Verbena, etc. Anything that's warm and cozy or nice to touch, Land's End has a great polartec fleece throw. I have two of those and sent one as a gift to my son - he loves it. If she lives in a cold climate, some handmade fuzzy wool mittens or a scarf. Maybe a craft that she enjoys.

An inspiring question!

I would create a huge basket of amazing tactile things...

No two things the same shape or made of the same fabrics, maybe scenting each of them differently for an added surpise

...everything from cool stress balls to cool objet d'arts that are sensual to the touch....funny little dolls and teddy bears maybe, maybe odd rocks or fossils that she may never have felt before...

things she may not readily find when going round shops...little nice surprises all of them, plus you get the joy of explaining each one to her...she may fall in love with a particular smell, fabric or thingy...and that could help you with future presents...

I guess most importantly, she will know that you have really thought ab out the gift...she will be (hopefully) touched by that, plus lots of little things and it doesn't need to be expensive either...

Best of luck...

Something according to her interest and inclinations. Waht are her likes, preferences?

All sighted just as all non-sighted are not the same. All women are not the same. Get to know her better so that the gift will have more meaning.

As a matter of fact geting to know her better is perhaps the gift that she desires!

Find out what her favorite scents are. Buy scented soaps, bath oils, and candles. Also get a really soft blanket so she can cuddle up with.

talking watch.

my gramma was blind and it was her last wish to leave the watch on. the funeral director took it off to give to mom and mom put it back on gramma's wrist in the casket! (it was actually really funny. guess you had to be there.)

gramma loved her talking watch.
