Hebrews 11 is the chapter on faith. Even if you don't believe in the Bible, try this. When you have a tough time in life, say a prayer and have full faith that it will happen. You will be amazed at the miracles that you will see. Just don't test the Lord because this is warned against. Try it and see if you still don't believe. Yeah, you can prove it.

If proving things was so easy, there would be only one religion.

Usually prejudice and hatred don't let things to be _proven_

The important thing to look at is how much YOU yourself can strive to learn about religions and their basic beliefs with open heart and without any prejudice. This has become very easy now a days as we have loads of information available to us through the Internet, we can get all kinds of views about a certain topic and then sift out those that are logical and make sense.

No one needs to prove their faith to anyone else, this doesn't mean faith is personal. It only means that its more important for an individual to seek the truth themselves, obviously enough, they should seek help from others, but good intention has to be there from them in the first place.

You can't prove faith because faith is just wishful thinking.

I'm an atheist, so I don't have any religious belief or faith. However, there is ample evidence that gods are man-made. Just look at the history of each religion, and you'll see that they are products of the cultures that created them.

You can also look into the field of human psychology to see how belief in people works. Religious arguments can be shown to be mere emotional tugs at human insecurity combined with some very strong indoctrination tactics.

Proof is not difficult.
What stops the receiving of that proof is sin which blinds the heart. It is with the heart that man believes for he walks in the vanity of his mind, having the understanding darkened being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in him because of the blindness of the heart. It is only God that can change the heart. Man is utterly unable.

The Bible tells us we may receive the witness of men but God's witness is greater and this is God's witness which he has testified of his Son. He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself, he that believes not God has made Him a liar because he believes not the record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record that God has given us eternal life and this life is in his Son. He that has the Son has the life and he that has not the Son of God has not the life.

Christ said, "My doctrine is not mine but His that sent me. If any man will to do His will he shall know ot the doctrine whether it be of God or whether I speak of myself."

And further, "If ye continue in my word then are ye my disciples indeed and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free." ("Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin," as we all are, apart from God)

Jesus Christ, declared to be the Son of God with power according to the spirit of holiness by the resurrection from the dead - and his resurrection from the dead is indeed a far stronger witness than anything man can think of or do or say - said, "I am the way, the truth and the life, no man can come unto the Father but by me."

I know of nothing and I don't think you can get anything more ultimate and final than that.

Proof cannot be provided to those who would doubt and to attempt to prove it to a doubter would be waste of time and prevent those who want to hear from hearing the truth. If you open your mind, you can KNOW.

Matt 12:39 But He answered and said to them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign. And there shall be no sign given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah.
Matt 16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign. And there shall no sign be given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah. And He left them and went away.
Mark 8:12 And He sighed deeply in His spirit and said, Why does this generation seek a sign? Truly I say to you, There shall no sign be given to this generation.
Luke 11:29 But the crowds pressing on Him, He began to say, This is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, and no sign will be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet.

Matt 7:6 Do not give that which is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn again and tear you.

As a Buddhist I wouldn't want to prove that, in fact I would openly embrace the diversity of other religions.

No one really can prove their religion is the untimate belief and faith. You said it yourself, faith. It's all about faith.

I cannot prove that. My belief and faith all lay at the feet of Jesus Christ, that is the best I can do.

I can't prove it...just as I can't prove many things in my life.

I can't prove that my wife isn't banging the local hockey team and planning to murder me for the insurance money, either.

I simply have faith in her and all evidence is that she is what she seems. Same thing with God.

you cant, the only way to get someone to believe it is if they accept your faith as the true way, which isnt proving anything. you can use clumsy logical steps to try and prove it.

the ontological theory is pretty sound but not very good - it says:

because God is perfect, and if something is perfect it has to exist to be perfect, therefore God exists.

Sound arguement logically. just a load of crap.
