then i renew my mind and meditate on things that are true and pure (God's word).

I'm sure that most of my thoughts are evil in somebody's judgment. They are all good in somebody else's judgment.
Of course, the only real judgment of my thoughts that are important to me, is my judgment. I frequently think of things I wouldn't do because I think doing them would be bad. But that's a good reason for having such thoughts. It allows you to review possibilities before deciding on a course of action. In that sense, even thoughts about "evil" things are good to have.

I think that everyone does from time to time, and anyone who says differently, is telling a lie.
Because an evil thought could be as small as wishing ill onto someone, hating someone, or simply just being jealous.

You first have do difine "Evil", to know if your thoughts are.........
"Things that are not of God" ? Well that certainly makes me evil then.
Morality seems to be a popular description. "The opposition of Life"....
I would consider that anyone who has evil thoughts to be very unfortunate individual indeed. The type of person that amounts to nothing.

there is an old Cherokee legend which states each of us have two wolves fighting inside of us. one is good and the other is evil. the one who is winning the fight is the one we feed the most. each mortal has to battle their evil thoughts daily in the hopes the good wolf will continue to win, but it is harder some days than others.

well we all try not to have evil thoughts, but sometimes its difficult when u have things like islam on this planet.

All the time ... and sometimes it is hard to turn my eye away from the iniquity. But eventually I do, that's the great part of God's word, it helps do it quicker lol
