The guards arrested him and presented in the court of Ravana. After knowing his identity Ravana criticized Lord Rama, and laughed at Bajrangbali. Bajrangbali gave him right, fearless but harsh answers. Ravana became very angry. He ordered to burn Bajrangbali's tail. The clothes were wrapped around the tail. His tail became larger and larger. Tons of clothes were wrapped in the tail. When the fire touched with the end of the tail of Lord Hanuman, it appeared that a huge flame will engulf Lanka. Bajrangbali started to jump on one house to another. The houses started burning. Lanka was burnt to ashes. When Meghnad's arrow hit Laxman, he became unconscious. The Sushen Vaidya (The ayurvedic doctor) was called. Vaidya told that only 'Sanjivani Booti' (A herb only found on Sumeru Hill) can save Laxman. Bajrangbali became ready to bring this medicine. He went on Sumeru hill. Which was far away from the battle field. There were many herbs like 'Sanjivani Booti'. Bajrangbali was confused. He immediately lifted sumeru hill in his right hand and started flying. He reached the battle field in Lanka. Laxman was saved. Once Lord Rama gave necklace of pearl to Bajrangbali in Rama Durbar. He immediately broke the necklace and started to gaze every pearl, Lord Laxman asked Bajrangbali -'What are you looking at Hanuman?', Bajrangbali replied- ' I am searching Lord Rama in these pearls. The Sadhus present at Ram Durbar laughed after hearing this answer. They said- How can Rama be present in these pearls? He tore-open his chest. Every one saw Rama and Sita was present in his heart. He was blessed by Rama with immortality (Chiranjeevi). He is worshiped for his strength, valor. agility and is a man of great teaming. He is considered to be an avatar (incarnation) of Lord Shiva.
