Hi
I,m 22 years old and very shy and i,m not sure if this guy who is 18 whether or not he likes me? He sits next to me alot and did start conversation with me and he said i was really difficult to talk to and hasn`t really talked to me since.
If he does like me i,m not sure if i should go out with him because of his age and also the fact that i have a 17 year old brother.

Girls mature faster than boys. So an 18 yr old boy is not on your maturity level where as an 18 yr old girl can be on the same maturity level as a 22 yr old man. He likes you but don't know how to handle you being very shy. If going out with him makes you feel like you're dating your teenage brother then don't go out with the guy. You may be more comfortable around an older guy and an older guy will know how to handle your shyness better.

It sounds like he may like you just by what you have said. He just may be shy and maybe why he finds it difficult to talk to you.
Is he too young for you? It all depends. He's of the legal age for one thing. But the factor you have to consider is his maturity level.
Going out with him on just one date isn't going to hurt anything. Ask him out! It's 2006, it's the thing to do. If you like him that is.
Don't worry yourself about his age and that you have a brother that's just 17. It would be totally different if he was younger than 18. You're only 22, just a 4 year age difference.

18 and 22 isnt that bigger age gap. I am nineteen, so is my friend and she is going out with a 23 year old, and that is exactly the same. Don't worry about being shy, but if he said it was hard to talk to you, he obviously wants to but thinks you don't want to. Let him know you like him by starting up a conversation and becoming better friends. You have nothing to lose and you might regret it when you realize it is too late.

no dont go out with him he is only 18 and he just want to be with you cause you are older than him btut you will see after a while he will forget about you so i recomend you to not go out with him If you have any other questions feel free to email me thanks bye Marco

he said you were difficult to talk to. and he's chronologically younger too. if you can put up with a double undergrowth, go out.

He probably does, but may not be as mature as you which makes him feel uncomfortable.
