whenever i see a really beautiful girl, i tend to freeze and panic. i usually just keep my mouth shut and can't even look them straight in the eye. sometimes they get attracted to that, but some think i'm being stuck up. anyone going through this too? or is it just me?

Incredibly, I do feel exactly the same. I think it is because deep inside of my mind, I feel that I am inferior to that woman and I lack lots of self-esteem.
But in more deeper sense, I believe this phenomenon is related to my past depression problem, where I felt inconfident about myself and blaming myself for many wrong things I did to myself.
Furthermore, I think such anxiety comes from the fear that kick in my head, "what if that woman does not like me?" or "what if I do something wrong and dissapoint her?" (social anxiety).
Fortunatelly, I began gaining my confidence and self-esteem by the counseling. I strongly recommend you to do the same, if you need it.

Jeepers I know exactly how you feel I can't even look at the guy I am attracted to anymore the only thing to do is nip it in the butt and be confident and SMILE!

Yes! me too.. I clam up at the sight of an attractive girl and no matter how much i want her I cant speak. I know this is sad.

You may feel insecure about yourself when approaching someone attractive and that is why you 'freeze' or panic. The girl may feel just as uncomfortable because she knows she is attractive and it makes it akward for her to make you feel comfortable.

that happens to me sometimes. i see a guy that is extremely attractive and i'm unable to look at them....
i get looked at like that also though...........by gardeners.
