Basic Law of Thermodynamics...expend more energy than you consume. Whether it is through diet, exercise or preferably a combination of both, have a negative deficit of 500 calories per day to lose a pound a week. So if you walk two miles and burn 200 calories and eat 300 calories less per day (than the amount per day that you can eat without gaining or losing weight), you will lose a pound a week. If you still don't get it, hire a professional to help you get started...a personal trainer AND a registered dietician to get you on the right track until you can figure it out yourself.

How to lose bellyfat
Losing fat is not an easy task, but gaining fat is very easy. You need to keep a check on the diet and do workouts for your abs to lose tummy fat. You also need to do aerobic exercises like swimming, jogging etc. Here are some points to keep in mind to lose belly fat:· Consume less sugar, processed foods and sodium. · Eat fiber rich foods like green leafy vegetables.· The diet should contain protein, carbohydrates and little fat.· Drink plenty of water and fruit juices.· Eat in small quantities for five to six times a day. · Do at least 30-60 minutes cardiovascular exercises at least 4 times a week. · Do strength training and ab exercises at least 3 times a week.
Tummy fat is not good for the body as it increases the chances of many diseases like diabetes, heart attack etc. A whole body workout is required to lose weight from your tummy, spot reduction is a myth, you cannot lose fat by doing stomach crunches or ab workouts only. A complete workout, which includes cardiovascular exercises, helps improve metabolism and you will be able to lose tummy fat quickly. Try to lose weight naturally by doing hard work and controlling your diet.

Not really about losing weight, but if you dont want to put loads on, did you know..... you only need an extra 300 calories a day to carry a healthy child. There is no need to binge and put on loads of weight just for the sake of being pregnant.
Why dont you take a gentle stroll every day.

The Movie Star Diet. I lost 50 pounds with it after only five months, and I couldn't be happier. I've tried a lot of different diets (Atkins, South Beach, and Weight Watchers, etc.) and none of them worked anywhere near as well as this one. It's definitely worth a shot if you really want to see a difference in a short time.

Breastfeed your baby to lose weight. Also, do weight lifting above your waist and from side to side (but use your baby or toddler and be gentle.) Make sure to keep a straight back while lifting to prevent injury. Your stomach muscles will be stretched out (this is not necessarily fat tissue) so you will need to do stomach crunches or sit ups (several.) Also, walking with your baby (instead of driving everywhere) or walking up stairs (instead of using elevator) will help some. But will not help your stomach muscles tighten. Also, eat healthy food.

To start with the very best way is breastfeeding! It can burn over 600 calories a day. Great when you don't feel up to starting a new diet. It really worked for me, I breastfed all 3 of my children. With my last one I put on about 4 stone!!!! It all came off though.xxxx

Have your husband give you 45 minutes a day to run 2 miles per day, 6 days per week.
Buy a great pair of running shoes, buy clothes that keep you cool while working out.
Great attitude.
Good Luck
