Check your BMI on the internet www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi

But I would say that 130 is a much better weight.

Check your blood pressure. If your diastolic is above 130 at normal heart rate levels than you could be overweight.

My advice is to take amino acids and start a work-out program.
You don't have to lift weights or run for miles to lose weight.
You can do simple exercises such as stretching, followed by sit ups or chin-ups. Regulating your daily diet could also be necessary, instead of eating 3 meals a day (if you do) start with just 2. Breakfast and dinner. For breakfast I suggest diet drinks like Boost, which is full of protein and all the vitamins you need, but without all the carbohydrates that add to soft tissue weight.

But thats only if YOU think you are in harm of being overweight.
Consult your doctor if you are unsure.
Hope that helps :)

150 lbs could be possibly classed as overweight but it depends on alot more than height and weight really. You could have a build that means you are generally heavier than others of the same height anyway. You could have large breasts that add significantly to your weight. You could have muscle instead of fat which weights more. So it depends on more than just those two figures. What about your waist size etc that would give a better indication of overweightness.

Average is 100 lbs for the first 5 feet of height and 5 lbs for every inch after, so 5'3" should be on average around 115 lbs.
My coworker is a rock-solid body builder at this height and she weighs 125...completely shredded. Most women will never get as muscular as her, and muscle weighs more than fat. 150 at 5'3" is overweight and possibly obese for the average female. Check your BMI.

Male Ideal Weight in Kg:

Weight = 50 + 0.91 x (height in centimeters - 152.4)

Female Ideal Weight in Kg:
Weight = 45 + 2.3 x (height in inches - 60)
Weight = 45.5 + 0.91 x (height in centimeters - 152.4)

Approximate predicted weight estimate:

At that age / height, I was 48 kg. My friends were so complimentary about my "size" - they say I was just "purrfect" or at my best ever

That's kind of big, but you know that.
Try jogging or running 2 miles per day.
