Have you considered volunteering with an agency that includes speech therapy? Those who work with the deaf and other disabilities may be your best bets. Most paid jobs require training, but volunteers can learn a lot and it looks good on a resume. It's also a good way to see if this is really what you want.

Some nursing homes might be good possibilities as well as those who have had strokes often have speech problems. And there you may even find some paid positions.
