Just wanted to know what it is about the cambridge course that stands out from all the rest?

More emphasis on science; shorter terms

nothing different about the course really - all the courses at the top universities are much the same

it just looks better on your cv but will cost you more to live and study there

people think you get further in life having a cambridge or oxford education - it doesnt - it may get you into your first job easier but your career is only as good as you will be at your job - its got nothing to do with what uni you went to

i know people that are at the top of companies becuase they are good at what they do and many went to mid grade polytechnics - my mate got a 1st in mech eng at cambridge and is a sales engineer and has been for 12 years - ok job but has hardly got anywhere because he's not particularly good in work - intellectually though he is amazing

The uni's all follow the same basic course, its just that studying at places like Cambridge and Oxford gives you that little edge when it comes to snob value!
