Well edsawyer, what I'm saying is based on Islam. Turkey is not truly religious in a sense but this is what it is.

Edsawyer, some people believe it to be the night of the 27th of Ramadan. but it's not a fact, the fact is that it could be any night in the last 10 days of Ramadan.

Then do you have any idea why there is a standard universally accepted date for it in Turkey?

(They call it 'Kadir Gecesi' here but I presume it to be the same thing: 'qadr=kadir')
