It is a simple vitamin imbalance. I think it is Zinc that you need to take to get rid of them but your best bet would be to find a nice high quality multi-vitamins that matches what you need at this stage in your bodies development and to eat more broccoli and such.
When my husband gets those I feed him broccoli and it seems to work pretty well but you should just always have a good quality multi-vitamin that you take anyway since we have such a hard time with the modern diet getting everything we need.

White spots on fingernails and underneath fingernails are a form of fungus. OTC Creams do not work on this particular fungi. You may have to see a doctor and ask him for Lamisil, a prescription drug used for this purpose.

Its actually air pockets or bruises...caused from damage to the matrix (main part of the nail that isnt seen). U cant really get rid of them...but maybe ur shoes are causing them...if they r too tight or if they are hard and hit against ur toes...

Lack of zinc or magnesium I think. It's not lack of calcium, that is a common misconception. HTH : )

This can also be a natural occurence. This tends to happen when air gets through to your nailbed or when your nails are bended.

Contrary to popluar belief, they are not caused by any dietary deficiency.
They are simply the old marks---"nail bruises", if you like---of where the nail was hit by something.
