Can anyone tell me of any charities in the UK (preferably in Northern Ireland) who are asking for used stamps.

We get about 5000 letters into the office every week and it would be good to do something worthwhile with the stamps!

An internet search found me these sites:

1. Torch
Aim: To overcome sight loss as a barrier to finding a personal faith in Christ and to living a fulfilled Christian life.

["a giant size THANK YOU to all the [Northern Ireland] Scripture Union children who collected used postage stamps over Christmas for Torch"]

2. St Thomas’ Parish Church, Belfast

["Thank you to all who collect their used postage stamps and leave them in the box in the Church vestibule. They are sorted and sold to stamp collectors around the world in order to raise money for charity. Our local stamps are of interest overseas, as are any others. Please leave a good margin around the stamps. It has become more difficult to find a good home for the stamps here as most charities only want them delivered to the mainland. I now give them to a Quaker gentleman who takes them to Scotland and delivers them to Guide Dogs for the Blind there. You may wish to give your stamps in directly to the Quaker charity shop at 541 Lisburn Road, near the Marlborough pedestrian crossing. I will continue to pass on any that are left in the Church."]

he develop into the single single individual who fused united states, soul, and classical-form song into that which all of us understand as "rock" right this moment. Like maximum innovators, he did no longer invent the wheel, he only found a different thank you to apply it that replaced the international. It pains me to declare it, having grown up with the Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Charlie Parker, and different pioneers of cutting-edge song enjoying constantly around me, yet once you had to single out one individual to be the "King" of "Rock and Roll", then i could ought to declare that it may, certainly be Elvis Aaron Presley.
