What are these and why does it happen?

Every one in a while I spit up things that look like cheese curds they are small and white and STINK! it only happens in the morning or when I am sick, Does this happen to anyone else?

*once (I am tired and can't type good when I am half asleep)

Mucus( it can come in a ball like form)....try a decongestant and don't smoke.

Have you had your tonsils taken out yet? This is usually the white area one will find located on the tonsils when there is an infection with one of the staphylococcal bacterium. It can become very rancid.
