When I try to play an MPG, AVI & WMV file these errors come with the following players.
1. Windows Media player Classic which comes with KLM Codec pack says, it can't render the file. wmv file tries to connect to the internet when I try to play it.
2. Windows Media Player says that I have to have license approval it it asks me to download a file named it108.exe but when I run it there's nothing happening expect another dialog box with a black background comes.
Please someone gimme a solution within 2 hours ok ?

Yeah I know bobby, but how am I suppose to get that license. I donwloaded these files from Imesh & www.files.lt. I never had this experience before.

Well thanks for your advice, Kurt 2. But its not a porn movie right ?!?! I need an answer, not another problem, ok ?!?!?

Personally I would be very wary of this.
Did it used to play these files?
Whatever I would delete and reinstall Windows media player
If you can't do this, try downloading and installing winamp and using this instead if you are in a hurry.
It is possible that you have a virus on your PC, run a virus scan. Sounds like you may have run a media file with some embedded code that causes your PC to deregister something, and tries to get you to download a file and run it, which is normally a bad thing!!!

Usually .wmv files need license to play them. When played in Windows Media player it would automatically connect you to the web-site where you can obtain the license. If you have not subscribed to the web-site where you can obtain the license and downloaded the file from somewhere else. Then give up dude you cannot play this file!! Stop downloading those porn movies!!

Try downloading the Indeo codec.

download and install KLite mega Codec pack

download DivX player from download.com, that will play .avi and i think .wmv as well
