I don't really have regrets because I think you learn from all experiences, good and bad. I had a sh*tty marriage but I think I needed to go through it to develop as a person and I feel stronger for it. I know that my future relationships will be very different to the one I've just ended, so it's helped give me a new perspective. Life's too short for regrets - you should look forward, not back.

My biggest regret in my life is not telling my dad that i loved him when i was sitting next to him right before he passed away. It is something I think about every day.

I regret having regrets, Their have been life changing opportunities in my life and I did not take them. Having said that would I have been any happier? I have no idea so why regret these things but I am human and therefore do.

WOW! 41 answers already. I've never seen so many responses to one question. Good question!

I know my answer to this but I hate myself for saying it. I regret marrying my husband, now my ex. We were married for only 2 years but it should never had happened. I only married him to get away from my parents. He wasn't a good person. BUT I have a wonderful son from my marriage and I've graetful for my son. I just wish that I would have married a better man so our family could have stayed together. My son suffers because his father has never contacted him. I know my son is better off not having this man in his life but I know it's important for a boy to have a father around.

I see it as that my biggest mistake gave me my greatest pleasure.

Its a regret right now but hoping to turn it into purely learning experiences which I can laugh about into the future.

Staying with a woman in a relationship for too long when it just was not working.

What I'm doing now is being more selective about who I have in my life. Hopefully I'll pick someone that has much more similar values to me.

Time I've wasted wishing I'd done something but never doing it. Thinking I'd be young forever and have all the time in the world, then turning around and realizing that time is gone. Putting off tomorrow what I should've done today.

I don't have regrets because we learn from our experiences good and bad. If those things had not happened then I would be a different person today.

That said though I do wish sometimes I had not married my ex husband.
