How can we say we are left brained or right brained?

left-brained or right-brained refers generally to the dominant side of the brain. since the brain is reverse wired (right side controls left side of the body), if you're right handed, people will call you left-brained. that's usually the first indicator.

after that, folks who are logical often get called left-brained, those who are artistic, right-brained.

in reality, however, though one side of the body may be more or less likely to perform a function or whether we're more artistic or logical, the truth is that both sides of the brain work and it really is just a loose categorization. if you're right handed (and therefore supposedly left brained), you can still be quite the artist.

there really is no exlcusivity on the left or right side of your brain.
