Depending upon what kind of vitamins and your workout schedule if you have one. if it is just a basic multi vitamin it should be taken in the morning after breakfast.

Well given the fact that you body dumps a lot if its non-storable
vitamins like B's and C, first thing in the morning it makes since to take them with breakfast. (I take a pretty serious Multi at both times though)
