it's not silly...but it makes you sound like you have no confidence in yourself. Maybe she might be put off by that.

It's silly. It's not so much respectful as disrespectful to yourself. You want to sound confident and hopeful. Try something really corny but focused on the positive like "the best part of my day is when I'm near you and I'd like to get as close as you'll let me"

Sounds like u're undermining urself. Dont make a girl think ure weak. A girl doesnt like that. Well, I dont like that. Be confident and say things of why u should be with her., but not to boast urself just be true to urself. Bring out the good qualities in u to promote urself, but not too much. Good luck.

That statement would make me say no...It sounds like you don't have enough self esteem and make me wonder if you where like that with everything in your life. You need to sound confident, not desperate...

I think it's sweet, but you should try to think of something that shows that you have confidence in yourself. It is respectful and flattering, but as a girl, I think it is important for the guy to have confidence in himself as well.

Nope, Its actually Very sweet and Special, cause then if they are already taken your basically saying they are the full package and any guy is lucky to be with her, but then if she isnt taken it could flatter her and maybe bring something to you both!

it depends on seriously it was said- i dont think they should automatically be offended- maybe you suffer from low self-esteem, maybe they cant take someone thinking they have a sense of humor, OR maybe you are woman hating machine!!!who likes to make degrading comments only directed to imply how self-centered and evil you personaly veiw women! i knew it, all of you are the same....(sigh of disgust)
