Sure why not? However I must say you know him better then I do, I am not sure if I personally would be flattered or insulted so use your best judgment on this one.

My friend got her fiance an engagement ring. When they got married, they inscribed it. He uses the same ring as his wedding ring, but it's a little different now that it has an inscription.

The only downside was that people assumed he was married. When he clarified that he was engaged, he got a lot of slack for wearing an engagement ring and being too feminine. If he's tough skinned, then there won't be a problem.

If you can do it then do it but it is unpractical most men are hard workers and works in workshops with tools and so on and most men don't even wear their wedding rings so if I were you I'll sleep on that one!
Good Luck

Well, it is kind of odd. Don't know of any guy who wants extra jewellery that badly. Most have trouble wearing a wedding band!

I have a firm belief that you should not wait for other people to do something before you decide its okay. And anyone that is ready for marriage should be able to decide for themselves what is okay. Good luck.
