What is a good recipe for fried chicken?

My friends mom made some with Captin Crunch and it was soooooo good. Please give me a good recipe and how to make it! Thank you. The best recipe might just get to come and try it! :-)

take 1 whole chicken ( cut up )
2 cups corn flakes ( crushed )
1 egg
2 cups of buttermilk
salt and pepper to taste

mix egg & buttermilk beat mix with fork
salt & pepper chicken
dip chicken in mix
roll in corn flakes
place in deep frier for 13-15 min. or until done
( can replace corn flakes with captin crunch )
